International Aerobatic Club
The International Aerobatic Club is a division of EAA dedicated to sport aerobatics, where I serve as President. IAC hosts competitions, provides training resources, and connects aerobatic pilots across skill levels from primary through unlimited categories.

The nation’s leading organization for model aviation enthusiasts, representing over 200,000 members. I am honored to be a Model Aviation Hall of Fame inductee for my contributions to the RC community.
CIVA - FAI Aerobatics Commission
The FAI commission governing international aerobatic competition since 1960. CIVA oversees World Aerobatic Championships for powered and glider aircraft across categories from Advanced to Unlimited. I serve as chair of the FAI / Aresti Liaison Working Group and previously chaired the Aresti Catalogue Committee.
Experimental Aircraft Association
The Experimental Aircraft Association brings together aviation enthusiasts who build, restore, and fly aircraft. I serve on the EAA Board of Directors. EAA hosts AirVenture Oshkosh, the world’s largest annual gathering of aviation enthusiasts, and supports chapters worldwide.
FAI - World Air Sports Federation
The world governing body for air sports, founded in 1905 and headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland. FAI sets standards for aeronautical records, coordinates international competitions, and promotes air sports worldwide through its member organizations.
LIFT Aviation
Aviation apparel and safety equipment manufacturer specializing in pilot shoes with proprietary rudder control technology, aviation helmets, and flight gear. We are marketing partners with LIFT Aviation.
MX Aircraft
Manufacturer of the MXS and MX2 aerobatic aircraft, regarded as the highest performance aerobatic airplanes in the world. I work with MX Aircraft as a test pilot and engineer. The MXS has won a decade of US National Aerobatic Championships and World Freestyle Championships.
National Aeronautic Association
The oldest aviation organization in the United States, founded in 1905. I serve on the NAA Board of Directors. NAA is the U.S. representative to FAI and the sole authority for certifying aviation records in the United States. They also administer prestigious awards including the Collier Trophy.
Specialty Aero
Specialty Aero is the business name for Tony Horvath, a custom plane builder in Creswell, Oregon. Tony is an amazing craftsman and hard worker. I’ve been fortunate to work with him closely on many projects. I highly recommend him.
