Extra 330SC
I enjoyed flying this plane and its two seat sister ship from 2015 to Fall 2025
The Extra 330SC is a 315 hp unlimited class composite aerobatic monoplane, built in Germany. The aircraft features a blistering 420 degrees/second roll rate, which is more than 1 roll every second. The aircraft is capable of +/- 10gs. During performances, I routinely pulled 10 Gs, pushed -7 Gs, and reached speeds of 250 mph.
The Extra 330SC is also a great cross-country aircraft with a Garmin G3X panel and autopilot. I got 180 kts cruise and 500 nm range at 17 gph.
